Credos Fabrications evolved from a prayer that grew into action. We wanted to create a diverse company equipped to meet a wide spectrum of needs within the oil and gas industries. But we also knew that we HAD to put God first. So we started with our name. The word "credos" is Latin for "we believe." Then we designed our logo which is a play on the trinity symbol; gold for God, red for Jesus and blue for the Holy Spirit. And so Credos Fabrications began...
Credos Fabrications has a history in laying pipelines, installing compressors, maintenance and upgrades within the oil, gas and construction industries throughout the United States. Owner, Scottie Johnson, has over 34 years experience in oil, gas, construction and management and our supervisors have over 50 years experience in the industries.
"I have thirty-four (34) years of construction and oil field experience to include blue prints, construction process piping, installation of equipment, tank fabrications, welding procedures, civil concrete foundations, structural steel fabrications, production well monitoring and trouble shooting, supervision of workover rigs, and conduct management meeting as well as coordinating all phases of construction projects.
I started my career in the construction industry in 1985 as a welder’s helper. Five months in to my career, with great determination and drive, I became a pipe welder. I remained a pipe welder and pipe fitter for the next three years. I started my own welding business in 1988 with much success. In 1989 my son was born with Down Syndrome and the need to have group insurance coverage drove me to accept a position with Amerada Hess Corp. Then in 1996 the Mississippi region of Amerada Hess was purchased by Denbury Management and that was my place of employment for the next 18 years.
In 2014 I accepted a position with Tabula Rasa Energy (see letter of recommendation) as Director of Construction where I worked with engineers and with the operations department while overseeing all field construction of various pipelines and EOR facilities process piping. Due to circumstances within the oil and gas industries, we were forced to stop all construction activities. I then started my own business, Credos Fabrications, LLC.
I have been supervising numerous employees and contractors in the oil field and construction industry since the year 1990 with safety, professionalism and customer satisfaction. I am experienced in maintenance as well as preventative maintenance and corrective action. I am a team player that adapts well to new situations, manages time and multiple priorities effectively. I work well under pressure and I am able to resolve problems in demanding situations with timely and accurate results.
I am an innovated, performance driven, and highly creative professional with solid academic foundation and comprehensive years of experience in overall aspects of project management, organizational operations, and business development. I am adept at developing plans and implementing strong quality management, resulting in fulfillment of project requirements and specifications. I am skilled at resolving project conflicts and identifying resource requirements to improve efficiency, productivity, and business processes toward successful attainment of organizational goals."
